I am a owner of an studio in Executive Towers Business Bay. It has been a lot of disputes for the last few years regarding services fees. I have not received any emails or invoices and as far as I know Rera has not approved the services fees on this projects as there is no MOU between homeowners association and Dubai properties group. Can you please help , I have received a threatening email from my Building Management Company saying my service fees are overdue . Any information regarding Executive Towers or who to contact will be great help.
The first thing I would point out would be to check the contact information the Building Management Company has for you as regards to any correspondence that is communicated between you. Your Building Management Company is a large organization and whilst mistakes sometimes do occur, I'm sure you have not received invoices due to wrong or incomplete details held in their files.
Home owners associations have not been ratified at RERA yet despite many organisations being formed by individual owners of independent towers.
You can check the legitimacy of service changes from RERA Service Charge Index. Enter the master community, project, usage, year then press search- this will then give you the correct information for your development. If it differs from what you know now to be demanded, then at least you have a base from which to discuss your point to your Building Management Company.
A lot of service changes have gone up recently mainly due to the wages of the security grounds. These increases are the result of the police announcing the implementation of unified employment contracts stipulating a minimum wage of 1,200 AED per month back in Jan 2013.
